Cakes can be expensive, fact. Especially when you want something that looks really different, unique, bespoke, and not “off the peg”…we’ve been thinking about this for a while in the kitchen, and so have come up with something that looks great, tastes delicious, can take the place of a cake, and even better, is a wee bit lighter on the pocket, than a traditionally decorated cake!

Its a honey oatmeal and raisin cookie base, filled with coloured buttercream icing…and its pretty yummy.

We score the top of each cookie, so that when it comes to serving it, its easy to cut into pieces and share…

We made some very cute little colourful wedding favours last weekend - the wedding theme was green and yellow - and they looked very dainty on each person’s place setting!

They said “Thank you” on one cookie and “Mr & Mrs B” on the other.

Hey! We have a little pop up shop at The Old Shoreditch Station at 1 Kingsland Road, from today (Monday 10th dec) until Thursday.

For sale are our classic Jammie biscuits, with words cut out of the dough, along with some Festive words and some Christmassy shapes!

You can also buy stripey and chequerboard biscuits, along with some lovely fat little Christmas cakes…all only available until Thursday…
