I’ve had to dig out the old sugar flower making skills recently…lovely to be stretching a different creative muscle!
So here are a couple of close ups of a sugar flower made using a dog rose cutter…which can be made to look a wee bit like an open peony too.

Its made with a recipe that involves a high cocoa chocolate milkshake (oh yeah) and mascarpone – its probably in my top five favourite recipes…what do you think of the way it looks?
I’ve also done ones which read “I thought you didn’t like cake” and “its not for you, its for me”…
