The brilliant Editor Leah Hyslop wrote such a great article about Bee and the Bakery in the Telegraph this past weekend…so impressed by her journalistic skills that I might steal the line “from bacteria to biscuits” and use it!
You can check the article out online here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/10692072/Word-of-mouth-Bees-Bakery-cookies-and-cakes-with-a-difference.html
I have two FREE tickets to give away for my classroom at the Cake & Bake show on Saturday 14th September!
During the show, I’ll be demonstrating how to create our stunning colourful ‘Rubik’s Cube’ cookies, along with some techniques on 3-D cookie construction and embossed and stamped cookies.
To enter, please email me with the subject line CAKEANDBAKE to firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll announce the winners in early September…
Is it uncool to wear this to the pub do you think?!
Look at these awesome little cookies…they’re our new favourite thing! We can write any message, decorate in any colour, and do any shape you like
Even better, they’re for sale on Etsy NOW: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/151470030/bees-bakery-colourful-cookies
I’ve been thinking about making a new signature cake for a wee while…and I think this Graffiti cake could just be it!
Its a chocolate milkshake cake, filled with a sweet mascarpone icing and covered in chocolate fondant. The icing is hand piped, using royal icing, colours and names totally personalisable!
Except for Dan at Real Staffing – who I’d pretty much bake anything for!
Here are some cute little easter cupcakes we made for them – spring colours, embossed patterns and the company logo hand piped onto the top!
Its a CAKE PIE, way better than a cupcake cause its big enough to share / pig out on! The size of an individual pie, made with fresh lemon zest (not flavour) and decorated with NEON embossed fondant…nice.
Available to order on Etsy v soon…

There are loads of different flowers that have edible petals and that flower throughout the year – my window boxes are FULL of them…
Here are some pictures of some gorgeous little cakes – all with edible real flower petals on them…
These are borage flowers on a vanilla sponge base with dark chocolate ganache…
Here are some fantastic photos (thank you Emma G!) of some lovely embossed rose, lavender and lemon cupcakes that I made for a great party by Who’s Jack magazine at Proud Galleries in Camden…the cakes are hand embossed using a lovely little floral cutter, and made with real lavender, rose or lemon…lush
